The Resurrection Of Requisite Danger

It is hard to imagine that Requisite Danger has been down for almost a month… yet, it has.  Much saddness.

Now, after long hours plodding through the ones and zeros of multiple databases, the site it back and running!!!  A HUGE shout out to my brother J for all his hard work in migrating the system to WordPress.

Note to all readers: I would encourage everyone to leave a comment for J below telling him thanks for his hard work.  Without him, there wouldn’t be a Requisite Danger!

Speaking of the migration, the majority of the posts and comments came over without any problems – however, there was a few posts deleted (namely, those posted during the migration process). As such, you may see some “old” posts come back over the next few weeks – just smile and nod. Things will get smoother as things go on.

I think that it is for now… I am just thrilled to be able to share the Journey with you all.

Teaser: God has been showing me some really COOL things concerning eschatology, the Gospels and the history of theology. Stay tuned, they’re coming your way soon! :D

    Yeah J!

  • Great job Jay!

I like the new format too.

I’m curious what you ended up doing.

Jay had to write some custom database scripts to parse the data from LifeType and import it into WordPress. From what I could tell, it was quite the pain as neither one of the system liked the other. I’m just thank the Lord that he knew how to create the database scripts as I was totally lost!
